About the Asheville Home Builders Association
The Asheville Home Builders Association (AHBA) was founded in 1966. Affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB ) and the North Carolina Home Builders Association (NCHBA). With over 625 members, the Asheville HBA is one of the largest Home Builders Associations in North Carolina, and is involved in all aspects of residential construction.
Builder members are contractors building custom and speculative homes as well as mutifamily dwellings. Some builder members specialize in residential remodeling.
Associate members are those involved in businesses related to the building industry. Among them are building product suppliers, realtors, bankers, subcontractors, insurance agents, and those meeting the office needs of our member businesses.
